ABOUT
The Annual National Youth Festival is an extraordinary youth gathering between ordinary young people, elected representatives, and key stakeholders to share ideas around current youth issues across the social, economic and political divide in Uganda. At the festival, young people (16 to 30) are able to freely interact and engage with politicians, diplomatic missions, academia, media, the private sector and civil society through customized debates, speeches, exhibitions, services and workshops relating to innovation, health, agriculture, careers & opportunities and leadership & governance. Since its founding in 2011, the festival has attracted close to 5000 youth and 150 exhibitors every year with more than 50 high profile politicians and key stakeholders participating. The festival is convened by Open Space Center in collaboration with other partners.
